O-hoh, you're getting into the habit of picking me up souvenirs now? How thoughtful. I feel pretty embarrassed I didn't pick you up anything on-planet from my mission... guess I had my hands full with how well it was going!

(I think they were going to realise you were there either way, Master, if you were going door to door collecting pledge signatures and shopping for souvenirs. Did you get Master Yoda anything?)

I'm sure they were full. You've always had a habit of picking up far more than you've ever known how to chew. I would be too hopeful to dream of you returning with a souvenir that didn't require some maintenance, so I thought it fitting to return the favour.

(To think that it wouldn't have just been easier to find the right door on the first try if we had followed the map, instead.

Master Yoda will be pleased to receive my dignity intact.)

Ah, well with that definition Master, perhaps you can serve as my souvenir to the Council. I often have my hands full with making sure you make it back to Coruscant fully in-tact... and I'd call those singe marks on your robes in need of some maintenance.

Also, Artoo would like you to know that he preforms his own maintenance. (I think he took a little offense.)

Far be it for me to remark on your map-drawing skills, Master. Or your dignity.

I am sure the Elders would be very pleased by so prodigious a gift as myself, though I do not believe any of them are as skilled in tailorship as you are with your machines. Perhaps you simply ought to stick with the data we recovered, as directed.

Give Artoo my apologies. It's not his fault that he must associate with you, after all.

I certainly could have done with better writing tools, though far be it from me to have predicted that our original map was better used as a distraction technique against our pursuers.

I think you have way too much nostalgic fondness for the word 'padawan', and everything it implies.

And why shouldn't I? I did enjoy watching you grow into the talented and equally as headstrong Jedi you are today.

It is important as your former mentor to make sure you maintain your humility, as well.

Yes, I am done here, and no, I am not injured. However, as mentioned, my robes may need a bit of mending -- the 'Hero of the Republic' is not so beneath lending this Jedi Master a hand with needle and thread, is he?

I've programmed Artoo to do a number of tricks all on his own. Don't tell me you're not at least half as talented as my astromech droid, Master Jedi Obi-Wan Kenobi?

Without discounting Artoo's many capabilities, I would hope to claim enough talents as to have successfully taught you a few tricks, as well.

Now, Master, don't be cross. You know that I have infinite respect for you, and for all that you've taught me. There is no one I respect more.

I believe I've carried you home enough times to prove it, but I'm not taking up cross-stitching for you. I draw the line there.

And to your strength of heart and body I am always grateful. I can be content fixing my own robes so long as you promise to use that line to draw straighter ones on maps for me in the future.

But, as you wish. Prepare for a bumpy ride-- I have to work on my drawing skills, and you know how Artoo is at nav.

A Jedi Master must always find new ways to challenge his former pupil. Consider it a constructive critique for improvement, rather than petty fault-finding.

I daresay my cross-stitch will not be so neat for the Elders either, then. We shall both have to persevere in our respective hands at the arts together.

You could do with a bit of introspection yourself, as well. No better way to self-improvement than by meditating upon one's own faults.

A nap isn't so unreasonable after such an eventful mission. Perhaps it will lend me a more focused hand against Artoo's driving.
