[Slumping comfortably and maybe tucking his head against Rey's shoulder, because it was there, and a good pillow.]

[He laughs and eats his popcorn, then holds one to Jehan's lips for him to eat.]

[That... caught him off guard. And it was, in fact, easier to pick up the whiskey as soon as Jehan ate that popcorn, than it was to reply. Drinking straight from the bottle, he wasn't able to drink much-- damn it burned-- but it was enough.]

I'm not flattering! Flattering implies you're amping up the compliment, or that you want something.

[He eyed him as he drank the whiskey, thinking that he somehow looked more handsome doing something mature like that. Even if it was unhealthy and slightly illegal. Maybe that made it only more attractive.]

[A shrug, and he went to take the bottle form him, also to drink right from it.

[He laughed, mixed with a cough as the whiskey hit the back of his throat and burned pleasantly.]

[He hands the whiskey over, biting back a laugh as Jehan made a face.]

This is definitely better when mixed with something.

Stealing a glance at him, bewildered and going steadily red, it took a long moment to find his voice.]
