The pet names were nice. Having him there without a shirt was nice.

He was surprised at how nice it was to just... hang out, actually.]

You can try to dislodge it, but you'd have to be very distracting.

[Finishing off the strawberry, he licks his fingers and raises his eyebrow at Jehan. It really was nice to just hang out-- regardless of the problem they shared.]

[He stuck his tongue out again before further tending to his cocoa.

Surprisingly easy-to-drink, considering the alcohol content.]

Speaking of sleeping with people though; are you sleeping over?

[More cocoa. Yes. That was a good idea.

Wait... when did they talk about sleeping with people? He blinked and took another sip of his cocoa.]

Yeah-- I mean, if that's okay. I don't want to impose or anything.

No, it's no imposition. I'd be worried about you, if you walked home so late. I mean, I'd have walked you if you'd wanted, but still. It's cold. [A shrug.]

[His mind actually hadn't gone to sleeping with people-- He just meant that he was still able to be distracting without veering that far into dangerous territory.

He was trying to be good, despite it all.]

[He would have been pleasantly surprised to hear it.

Still, he waved a hand at him.]

Nope. I refuse to take your bed and leave you on the floor. Only way you'll get me in it is if we're sharing.

[He doesn't see a huge problem with that; it's a big bed.

The teasing gets a snort from him as he takes another sip of his cocoa... But upon seeing the last of the berries left for him, he couldn't resist.]

I'd hardly think it banishment, really... But I am thankful that you did not subject me to it, you are a good man, Jean Prouvaire.

[He held up his head a little higher, still joking for the most part... though maybe he did feel a tinge of warmth at the compliment, even if it was fake.]

But floors are cold, hard, and bad for your neck; I would never subject someone to it, much less a friend. Ah, thanks! There's nothing better a man can be than good, don't you think? Flatterer, Reynaud Courfeyrac.

[Anddd he's finishing that cocoa. Was that a little too fast? Oop. But it tasted like chocolate...]

[Wait, he was already done with his cocoa? Courfeyrac downed the rest of his so he was done too.... Even though he had half the mug left.]

I agree. Good men are the best kinds of men that exist. And you are near the top of that list for me.

[Jehan is raising a brow at that a little. He hadn't meant that he had to finish too...

With a gesture, he pointed out that he had a bit of a chocolate mustache, then laughed softly.]

I am not. But out of curiosity, who does top that list for you?

[He just grinned and left the chocolate there for now.]

I don't think I've actually ever listed them out... So I'm not really sure. Probably some dead guy. Or Santa.

[Which just made Jehan laugh again, cheerfully.]

Some dead guy, or Santa? That is tough competition. The dead guy, especially. I should give up now; or just start giving you gifts every Christmas.

[He wipes the chocolate from his lip and grins a bit more.]

My vote is for the presents.

I'll clean up. You can go upstairs and find pajamas for yourself. Third drawer.

You sure you don't need help cleaning up?

[A nudge back as he pushes himself away from the counter.]

[A wrinkle of his nose, and he pushed himself up as well, to place a friendly kiss to his cheek.]

You keep forgetting. You're the guest. I'll clean, you lounge.

I can bring a snack up too if you want. Popcorn, or something?

[They were teenaged boys. Was there such thing as a pause in eating?]

Fine... Popcorn sounds great. I'll see you up there.

[You know he wouldn't say to more booze either... But he can already feel the first hitting him. Pressing a kiss to Jehan's cheek, he went to head upstairs and change into pajama pants at the very least.]

If it was hitting him too, Jehan barely noticed. He'd never had a particularly great tolerance, and alcohol tended to make him giddy. So, if he was a bit more cheerful, and laughed easier? Pssh. It had nothing to do with the whiskey, right?

Putting in the popcorn (sweet begat salty!) to pop while he cleaned the dishes. He'd put them away after, returned the Bailey's to the fridge... then paused at the whiskey, realizing he hadn't offered him more, if he'd wanted it.

Well, he had two hands. Grabbing the popcorn with one and the drink with the other, he headed back upstairs.]

[By the time Jehan gets upstairs, Courf has changed into a pair of pajama pants that does an even worse job of hiding the problem that has only slightly gone away.

Laying on the bed as he was, it was impossible not to look at least a little provocative, even when that wasn't entirely his intention.]

[Jehan, as promised, was a lot better at control than his friend. He had staved off the majority of the problem, though as he hadn't 'excused himself', it still lingered along the peripheries, ready to... well.

Anyway, walking in on that certainly stopped him in his tracks a little. He was ungraceful by nature, and could play the slight trip and momentary, gawking stare off as being... himself. Himself on whiskey, even.

Oh. He hadn't gone for a shirt. And the outline of that problem was... particularly eye-catching, in his pajama bottom choice.

Wetting his lips and taking a deep breath, he held both items up.]

Delivery.

[And that said, went to put both items beside him on the night stand before promptly heading to get his own pajamas; if they were just wearing bottoms, then fine. He wouldn't look as good as Reynaud did, but then again, who did?]

[It was impossible to look anything but seductive with a problem and pajamas on. When Jehan entered the room, he shifted to sit up, hoping to better conceal what they both knew was there.

He still offered a small smile at Jehan as the popcorn and whiskey was set down next to him. Chewing on his lip, he snuck a few glances his way.]

My hero, thanks.

[Quipped, finding a pair of bottoms he liked and pausing a moment before... well, what the heck.

He wasn't going to trek all the way back to the bathroom to change pants. It wasn't as if they didn't share a locker room, or hadn't just been trying to stick their hands down one another's trousers, anyway. While he was usually a little shier, that really... made it seem silly.

He'd blush only vaguely, and had the decency to shimmy behind the dresser a little to lop off his pants and socks, toss them haphazardly into his laundry bin, and pull on the new bottoms.]

Though, he's not my favourite hero...
