[It was definitely the hormones talking.

...Granted, your hormones got to do a lot of talking in a committed relationship, and there was someone there who'd listen. Not so bad after all.

The kiss was sloppy, but that only somehow made it better, confused as to weather he'd rather suck on the other boy's lower lip, or nip at his tongue. Both, he decided; both seemed good, so he rushed between one and the other with an appreciative cry at the fingers tugging his hair.

The grinding was swiftly becoming more frustrating than enjoyable though, a little bit futile. His hand twitched at Courfeyrac's waist, and it took tremendous willpower to keep it there and from slipping between them, or under his waistband.]

[The quick change between sucking and nipping was enough to coax sounds from him. His fingers tugged a little more at Jehan's hair as his other hand found his hip and kept him close.

The grinding was frustrating but it did provide a little relief. He captured the other boys lip between his teeth and gave it a small tug as his hand at his waist massaged circles in his skin.

He just had to remind himself to not let that hand stray any further, despite what his hormones insisted.]

[A reminder that was becoming increasingly difficult to give.

With a gasp and a groan, he moved to bury his face against the other boy's neck, hyper-focused on his hands at his waist, and trying desperately not to be. Kissing below his ear, and then on his ear with an affectionate nuzzle, he spoke quietly in a voice pitched low from wantonness;]

I have to stop now, handsome imp. [Despite the fact that he'd like not to, there was warmth to his tone, and he gave his ear another shaky kiss.

He thought he'd definitely outlast him, but, well. He was finding it too hard to focus purely on Rey, while ignoring his hands. Impossible.]

I'll get up in a sec. Just give me a minute. [Movement, much less walking, sounded awful right now. So he contented himself with a last few attentions to Courfeyrac's neck while he mentally mapped the shortest route to the nearest bathroom.

A moment alone and cold water should probably help.]

[Jehan's voice nearly made him lose his breath, the way his friend spoke would have made him weak in the knees if he'd been standing. He, on the other hand, didn't trust his own voice and merely settled for a small noise.

He stilled his hands and worked on keeping his breathing even... And ignoring the nuisance between his legs. He had no clue how to go about fixing this-- not when he was certain Jehan would make a beeline for the bathroom.

His voice lower than he expected it to be, he finally spoke up,]

Do you have anything... Ah... Strong to drink?

[To take the edge off.]

[Ohh, he felt-- he felt badly for him, when he heard that. Wetting his lips, he gave him another soft, hopefully kind nuzzle and nodded.]

Yes, I do. I'll grab it.

[He could cover up whiskey and Bailey's in more cocoa; that would make it taste better.

Or-- er. Maybe rum and coke? Chocolate was an aphrodisiac. But caffeine was--... oh, gosh. Maybe wine? Grandmama would notice, if he took the wine though.

Kissing his cheek, Jehan forced himself back up wt a push, wrinkling his nose a bit at how cold it was, not pressed so snuggly to the other body. Walking... walking was going to be a misery. But, guests came first; especially ones as equally tortured as himself.

So, getting to his feet and not bothering with the shirt, he made another little face and stuck his tongue out playfully to show he shared Reynaud's distaste of the next five minutes of their life.]

I'll-- deal with it. If you need the bathroom.

[That said? He began his shuffle back downstairs to the kitchen, reciting the absolute most depressing poems he knew as he went, to forget about the boy on his bed.]

[He didn't mean for Jehan to go right then. He could wait a moment or so... He actually lamented the lack of him by his side now. To the point where he reached out to pull him back, but didn't quite succeed.

He smiled a bit when Jehan stuck out his tongue, laughing gruffly and shaking his head.]

You don't have to-- that's what the alcohol is for.

[But Jehan was already making his way back downstairs. Courfeyrac say up and pressed his palm against his big problem, groaning a little before trying to stand up and ignore it. The booze would hopefully make this easier for him to cope with. He followed Jehan, equally as slowly, determined to not pay attention to his erection-- or Jehan's back as he came back into view.]

[He certainly hadn't meant that his guest needed to come! No pun, this time. Luckily,he was a little oblivious, and barely noticed himself being followed as he made his way downstairs, reciting a part of Hamlet he particularly enjoyed out-loud, in sing-song.

He'd head for the hot water kettle first, turning it on and trying not to brush the cabinets to make his problem worse, going for the whiskey and the bailey's in the meanwhile. It isn't until he'd going to grab the strawberries and sugar (he has a sweet-tooth, so sue him) that he notices Reynaud, with a little gasp of surprise... and a slightly lingering glance.]

Oh! Sorry, I thought you were staying upstairs.

[He was hard to ignore, standing three feet from him. And he could see the problem, and the visual was... a little too nice.]

Um. Spiked cocoa and strawberries okay? I can't cook.

[affablecharm]

[Courfeyrac hadn't meant to be so quiet when following Jehan down to the kitchen... And he certainly hadn't meant to startle him. He mindfully kept his distance from Jehan and did his best to ah-- hide his problem.]

I don't mind helping...

[He smiled a little and ran his fingers through his hair.]

That sounds perfect. What can I do to help?

[It was definitely more a matter of keeping in his own head and trying very hard not to think about him that had led him to being surprised.


...Why did he look so much more handsome, tousling his hair like that? Not fair.]

Can you grab a bowl, up top? [He pointed.] Then wash the strawberries. I'll put the sugar on them. Thank you, hon!

Sure thing.

[He was more than happy to help, walking over and grabbing a bowl from the top shelf. Perhaps so he could stretch out just a little, he certainly didn't need to flex his back muscles like he did.

Grabbing the strawberries, he went to run them under the water, doing his damnedest to pay attention to the fruit... and not his friend.]

[He snuck a few glances at him, smiling whenever he caught his eye, and fixed the Irish Cocoa. That done, in two mugs, he went and poured... a generous amount of sugar over the strawberries.]

Okay, beau. It's all ready. Cheers?

[affablecharm]

[He smiled just as brightly in return, bringing the strawberries over when they were rinsed properly and watching Jehan dump the sugar on them.

Picking up his mug, he couldn't help but laugh.]

Cheers. Think you put enough sugar on the strawberries, mon chou?

--Did you want more?

[He took him as being earnest a little, a bit distracted by the affectionate pet name, but understood the sarcasm a beat later and with a blush.]

Sorry. I like my food really sweet.

[A shrug, and he's diving into that drink, flustered.]

[Courfeyrac didn't laugh-- much. He shook his head and took a sip of his own drink, really hoping the alcohol would fix his problem.]

Mmm... There's nothing wrong with that, I just don't think I've ever had that much sugar on my strawberries.

[And another sip, because his mind began to wander in the direction of how Jehan would taste after having a few of the sugar covered berries...]

There's a first time for everything!

[Despite being a lot more... well, frustrated... he was actually also more relaxed. He liked Reynaud a lot more like this, when the charm wasn't exactly on on mode, and they were half-dressed and stealing his grandmother's alcohol and eating way too late at night.

To that end! He plucked a strawberry up and held it out for him.]

Try, try. They're way better like this.

[He hid in his cocoa... To be perfectly honest, he was much too frustrated to have his charm on... Perhaps that was better for Jehan, or for both of them, in the long run. Still, when Jehan held the strawberry out for him, well...]

If you insist, I suppose.

[He smiled and set the cocoa down, leaning in to take a big bite. Slowly. He pulled away with a grin and holding back a laugh, he could feel the strawberry juice dribbling down his chin and the excess sugar on his lips.]

I fold, you are, once again, correct.

[laughingandlyric]

[Laughing outright, he went to scoop the juice up off his chin with a finger, sticking that finger into his own mouth thereafter with a smile.]

I'm always right! You're learning!

I'm a very attentive student.

[.... God damn it, why'd he have to do that? Courfeyrac licked at his lips unconsciously, cleaning the sugar from them, as he watched Jehan stick his finger in his mouth... With the juice that had just been on his chin.

Terrible. He felt an annoying twitch in his pants and picked up his spiked cocoa again in hopes to ignore it.]

You still have a little.

[Pointed out, going to rub at it with his thumb, then giving a cheerful nod.]

There, Mr. Attentive. All gone.

[And he's stealing his own strawberry now and leaning on the counter to drink his cocoa... because slumping is always more comfy.]

[Honestly, Jehan, this attention is just rude right now. He grins, a little doofily, as Jehan rubs the rest from his chin, and hides in his cocoa... Watching Jehan from the corner of his eye.]

See, what would I do without you?

[What? He isn't allowed to be cute? Fat chance of that; he has you for an entire evening. And that doofy smile? Somehow way more handsome than Courfeyrac's dapper one. Way more handsome. Positively makes his chest flutter, and he can't help but smile back.]

Be asleep? Or dancing with Mildred Smith? Oooor... eating less-delicious strawberries?

[With a grin, giving his waist a playful prod before returning to his cocoa.]

[He's allowed... But not when they're both so frustrated. They're just doomed to smile stupidly at each other for the rest of the night, aren't they?]

Mmm wouldn't be asleep... God forbid I'd be dancing with Mildred Smith... But I suppose that's another point you have.

[He swings his hip to the side, lightly bumping it against Jehan's, before picking up a strawberry and holding it out to him.]

[It's either that, or whine incessantly.]

You're right, you wouldn't be sleeping. Mildred can be kind of cute, if you-- ignore. Um. [He wasn't nasty enough to say 'her voice', it felt too mean.] --Nevermind. But see? I'm right again. Hah!

[And he'll take his spoils! Leaning into that hip he jutted out, he leaned in to take the bite. Excuse him if he also gets your finger; he tried to one&done on the bite there, so he wouldn't be so drippy.]

[If you ignore... almost everything except her physical appearance? A witty remark was on his lips, until Jehan nearly took off his fingers when he took a bite of the strawberry.

Retracting his hand, he brushed his thumb over Jehan's cheek lightly before picking up a strawberry of his own and nibbling on it.]

Don't let it go to your head, cher.

Being right? It's already gone to my head.

[And he'd lean into that hand, for however briefly it was there.

The pet names were nice. Having him there without a shirt was nice.

He was surprised at how nice it was to just... hang out, actually.]

You can try to dislodge it, but you'd have to be very distracting.
