[Exactly why he hadn't wanted him to know! That predictable arrogance... but at least it was well-deserved here, as Jehan could not remember having ever kissed someone quite so good at it, or leaning into hands quite as skilled.

His other hand fumbled for Courfeyrac's scalp again, scraping over it lightly, then tugging gently at the hair, becoming more impassioned by the moment...

Before, abruptly, he made a little noise of surprise and accidentally bumped their noses a bit too hard.

Cue: Awkward Teenaged Moment. Because he's guessing that's not a bottle of Coke in your pocket.]

Oh-! Sorry, I-- you-- um. [A pause, catching his breath and making a face.] ...I didn't mean to do that.

[He didn't mean the nose bump.]

[affablecharm]

[The nails against his scalp and fingers tugging at his hair earned a soft sound into the kiss... Well, until their noses bumped a little too hard and they broke the kiss, him hissing out a little... More in shock, really, than in pain.

And honestly, Jehan... Courfeyrac managed a dry chuckle, fingers hand moving out from under his shirt and just above the blindfold. He was a teenager... with a pretty high sex drive. It was bound to happen sooner or later, really.]

It's okay-- ah... Can I?

[There's a puffy look of annoyance, brief, at his laughter, before it melts away and he's nodding to that request...

Before realizing, belatedly, that Reynaud can't see him nodding. With a sigh, he reaches up and unties the blindfold himself, slipping it off, and rubbing lightly at the other boy's temple, just in case it inflicted any sort of headache.

Otherwise, he doesn't say a word, not really certain what to say.]

[affablecharm]

[He's thankful that he can see again now, smiling as he readjusts to being able to see... Though his eyes close for a moment when Jehan rubs at his temple.

Opening his eyes again, he just smiles at him and leans back in for another brief kiss.]

Really... don't worry about it.

[There's a flush of colour and he ducks his head a little, brows knitting and making another face.]

You're sure?

[It wasn't as if he minded, or had never seen something like that on someone else before... but it's 1950, and he's a traditionalist; while that doesn't make him a conservative (hilarious idea, considering he's in bed with a boy), it does mean he's not quite on board with... helping someone out with that, casually. With a boyfriend? Fine. With the best friend he had in math class? Umm...

Which wasn't to say he didn't want to help him with that, either. Just... well. He was saving Rey the headache of his being doe-eyed at him for the next few months; really, Rey should be thankful.]

...I have a bathroom, if you um, need it?

I'm sure.

[Reynaud was the king of casual relationships, as-- well, half the school was aware. Perhaps even half the town if they knew who he was. Regardless, he really would have enjoyed Jehan's help, but he knew his friend all too well. Jehan would not be okay with casual and Reynaud was not entirely sure he'd be okay with something exclusive.]

Maybe... ah... in a bit.

[Because lets be real, if he wasn't going to get off during this? He'd need that bathroom break soon.]

[That was it exactly. Neither one would convince the other of their point of view, Jehan figured, and being that they were friends, they also were generally respectful of the other's opinions... even if Jehan didn't quite get what could possibly be good about casual hookups (wasn't it so much more meaningful with just one person, didn't you learn them better, so you made them feel better, lasted longer, and genuinely cared, like that? depth of feeling, physical and emotional...), he did get that they made Reynaud happy; and Reynaud was always very happy. So! Good enough for him.

...Though he felt very badly about his, ah, predicament, he still gave a soft snort at that reply, smiled, and went to kiss his jaw, still running a hand through his hair.]

Okay. In a little bit, then.

[He wouldn't know... he's never had that deep, meaningful, exclusive relationship that Jehan seemed to treasure so much. He hummed a little at that kiss on his jaw and grinned.

When he absolutely could not bear it anymore, then he would look into visiting the bathroom. For now, he was fine with continuing this nice make out session they had going on.]

[If being completely rejected by someone he loved as a friend and thought of as an impossibility weren't on Jehan's Top Ten list of Things He Didn't Want To Go Through, he might have broached the topic. But, as it was (and as he'd more than proved earlier), he made a very bold show of disinterested in the valiant effort to stay disinterested. Completely.

Not his type, after all. Right?

The grin made him smile in return and press another, chaste kiss over his mouth, putting a little space back between them and hugging onto him more idly, in a friendly manner.]

[Well, one thing was for certain: Courfeyrac was definitely upset by the change of pace... Not because it had moved into chaste territory... but more because it had moved into merely friendly territory.

There was only one way to fix this, mind you. Peeling from Jehan's grip, he moved away from him reluctantly, fingers at the hem of his shirt so they could match in their lack of modesty.]

[It was an unspoken promise that he would not press much further after the shirt was disposed of.]

[The one thing moving into friendly territory did accomplish was that he no longer had his defenses up quite so high, and rather than being chiding and somewhat of a tease, he warmed considerably, and was more comfortable.

Still, he gave Courfeyrac a genuine look of surprise at that request... before smiling a little and nodding, shifting to best help him get it off.]

Only fair, petit.

[affablecharm]

[He smiled thankfully as Jehan helped him remove the shirt in fairness... But he didn't remain face to face with him after that was taken care of. Mind you, it was only fair.

Pressing a kiss to Jehan's navel, he followed with another, then another... Kisses trailed up and down his chest, teeth dragging along his skin from time to time.]

[...Well that was certainly not fair. The smile dropped from his face and a little frown replaced it, as he jolted and made a preening noise that (again) he couldn't quite help.

Those teeth were especially bad for keeping quieted, and he meant to insist that that was enough; because he was in danger of having his own 'predicament'; but the words didn't quite form. Instead, he kept that hand in his hair and tugged again, his other hand reaching out for his arm, just to touch something in return.]

Rey, christ...

[affablecharm]

[It was, perhaps, a bad thing that such sounds only made him wonder much more intimate things about his friend... What sounds he might make if this were another part to his body... Or if things ever went any further.

As Jehan hissed out his name and a curse, and he felt that hand tug at his hair, he let out a pleased little sound of his own, tongue tracing upwards from Jehan's navel.]

Just returning the favored attention...

Going a little flush and needing to catch his breath, from the sight and the sensation combined, he made a wincing face and leaned his head down to touch to the top of Courfeyrac's, smoothing his fingers over his ear, then his neck, still just trying to focus on getting it together.

Which was difficult, because they definitely both had a problem now.]

Guess that's fair too, then... [Mumbled, kissing the top of his head again and trying not to wriggle or even move, otherwise.

He needed to think of really unsexy things, to get it under control. Like, science class. Or their friend Grantaire. Or the movie Bambi...]

[Because he had been the cause of Courfeyrac's problem?

He nipped his way up Jehan's torso, soothing each nip with a kiss or swipe of his tongue. He enjoyed his hands on him, the kiss at the top of his head, everything. And he wasn't even trying to think of unsexy thoughts. He was too preoccupied with sexy thoughts.]

[The difference being, he genuinely hadn't meant to cause Courfeyrac any problems!

But the feel of his tongue smoothing over those little bites was too much, and his attempt to imagine sad or ugly things faded into imagining what his mouth would feel like in other places...

With a groan of frustration, he went to drag the other boy up by his arms, turning them onto their sides so he could entwine their legs again, and going to 'return the favour' along the side of his neck and throat, nibbling and sucking at the skin.

Two could play at that.]

[Yes, but what could he have expected really?

He allowed Jehan to drag him up and turn them to their sides, gladly tangling their legs back together... And when he went to return his favor on his neck? Courfeyrac hissed out his appreciation, hand wrapping around his waist and fingers pressing into his back.

Oh yes, he appreciated this quite a bit.]

[Well, he had said they ought to try being romantic... key word being 'try.'

That hiss sent a jolt through him, accentuated by those fingers at his spine. Going to bite just a little harder, where his neck met his ear, he let a palm smooth down along his back, fingers brushing just under the waistband of his pants. Just to have the briefest idea of what it would feel like, if they were to go further.]

[Try.

Courfeyrac found it difficult to try when blindfolded and making out, sorry. The sharper bite earned an all out groan from him and as he felt Jehan's palm smooth down his back... then under the waistband just slightly, he pressed towards the touch.

That? That was not fair in the slightest, Jehan. And to prove it? His fingers moved from his spine to his hip bone, massaging there in small circles.]

[Well, Jehan had had better intentions for that blindfold than purely being kinky... but it was hard to remember good intentions when your partner kissed like that. (Okay, okay... so he was a great kisser. Jehan admitted it. Privately.)

Maybe he'd realized that wasn't entirely fair, but he hadn't expected the retaliation. Curling into the touch, he wasn't even the least bit ashamed at the sound that came out like a whimper.

They should really, really stop now. ...Or. In a minute.

They'd stop in a minute.

Taking a shaky breath, he pressed his hands a little lower, beyond his waistband to the knuckle, smoothing over the skin there and then breathing warmly against the affronted part of his neck.]

[Jehan's intentions might have been pure, but this was also Courfeyrac we're talking about. Good intentions aside, Courfeyrac was exceptionally good at forgetting them.

When it comes to Courfeyrac: Always expect the retaliation. Dear god, that sound though. They'd stop in a minute... or two. Courfeyrac would hide in the bathroom and discretely take care of his business, then have cocoa with Jehan and sleep on the floor or something.

Those were his good intentions, that all left his mind when Jehan's hands dipped lower and his breath was against his neck like that.]

Jesus, Jehan...

[He nudged his head a little, tongue flicking out at Jehan's ear.]

[Those were good intentions, and Jehan's weren't very different. The bathroom, maybe a snack, and he could even walk Rey home, if he wanted; he didn't mind long walks, even at this hour.

And if he'd been in total possession of his mind, he might be thinking about which snack it was he ought to make... sadly, half of his brainpower was taken up by the exact feel of the curve of his friend's backside as he ran his hand just a little lower, brushing with his fingernails, and back up.

The small explicative made him hum, giving a slower, more lingering kiss to the side of his jaw and shifting against him a little nearer.]

We can stop any time...

[Assured.

Though whether to let Rey know, or to remind himself, he wasn't 100% on.]

[Yes, great thoughts, good intentions...

And absolutely none of that happening. Especially as that hand dipped just a little lower, then scratched lightly back up. That? That was definitely a little moan from him. He shifted back against Jehan, turning his head to capture his lips this time.

That was a great assurance, but he wasn't so sure he wanted to hear that right now. Yes, they could stop any time... but he wasn't sure he wanted to unless Jehan did. His fingers massaging those circles dipped a little lower, just at the waistband of Jehan's pants.]

[And they should. They should stop. Right now.

No matter how many times he said it in his head, it didn't stop him from gasping into that kiss and deepening it needfully, from moving up against Courfeyrac's hands, wanting them lower, or from moving his own hands around to his hips, dragging down again. He kept two fingers out, to hitch on his jeans, dragging them down a little as his palms rubbed over his thigh.

He'd definitely stop. Just one more second.]
