[He releases Jehan so he can move away, instead facing him face to face.]

[A roll of eyes and he looks just slightly flustered after being released, uncharacteristically going to smooth down a sleeve.]

What a great sacrifice, I'm sure. Well, don't let me keep you from it.

[Jehan smooths down a sleeve, Courfeyrac straightens out Jehan's collar with a smirk.]

Well, do you think I'm just a good kisser? You know me well... I trust your judgment.

[laughingandlyric]

[Oh, no, that's okay. He wanted to be the exact colour of a tomato, really.

Making a noise as if he'd choked on the air itself, he snorted softly and shrugged gingerly.]

As if I could be a judge-? Bisous don't usually count towards how good a kisser someone is.

If you were a great kisser, and you kissed me, I wouldn't want to share you. Therefore, I've decided you must only be an okay kisser, not even 'good'.

And he'd reaching up to undo whatever you've done to his collar. It feels funny and too pointy now.]

[His fingers brush against Jehan's as he tries to undo what Courfeyrac had done in the first place.]

I don't necessarily agree... In fact, I would rather prove you wrong in that.

[He agreed, not meeting his eye (and definitely not noticing that his hand against his own left him feeling a little warm.)]

You aren't allowed to prove me wrong.

[Also decided, in a tone that straddled both petulant and bossy.

The last thing he needed was a very serious crush on someone everyone in the school had a very serious crush on.]

I'm not allowed?

[.... Well, that just made him want to more. He nudged Jehan's chin up a little with his fingertips so he'd have to look him in the eye.]

Why's that? You're scared I really am a great kisser, aren't you?

[laughingandlyric]

[He met his eye for about a millisecond before making a face and looking down again.]

Why would that be scary? You don't scare me a bit.

[Well, maybe a bit. Though he'd describe the effect more as intensely nervous and achingly shy.]

Like I said; you're only okay. I've already decided. First kisses should be way better than 'okay'.

[affablecharm]

[Well, enough debating that... If first kisses should be way better than okay, Courfeyrac was going to make sure that's how it happened. Tilting his chin up just a little more, he went in to kiss him. His fingers move from Jehan's chin and up to his cheek, cupping it gently.]

[laughingandlyric]

[...Oh that jerk.

Not that Jehan wasn't above the blame in this, as it probably wasn't wise to taunt a proud man about his prowess at one thing he is wildly good at, but...

He was good at it. Obviously. He couldn't quite help a small sound that escaped him, and after a very short moment of panic, he returned that kiss, maybe a little more eagerly than he'd meant to.]

[The sound: Absolutely charming. The eagerly returned kiss: met with the same eagerness. Tracing his thumb over Jehan's cheek, he deepened the kiss a little. Good, yes, but he's going for great.

And he might be a bit of a jerk.... but he wouldn't be lying if he said he hasn't been trying to find an excuse to make out with Jehan for a while now.]

[It was impressive that Reynaud had at least tried to make an excuse for it. That it had not just happened, and much sooner.

After all, it wasn't as if Jehan had so many options, in a school of their size, and when the idea of two males together skipped right past scandalous and into the realm of 'damning.'

Not something he was afraid of at the moment, though, making another low sound and finally picking up a hand to press against his chest, looping a finger in at the open seam where it buttoned, and matching him as he deepened the kiss.

...Fine. So maybe he was great at this.]

[Jehan's hand at his chest and finger in the open seam was enough to get a matching sound from Courfeyrac. His free hand snaked around Jehan's waist, keeping him close as he fervently continued their kiss.

And perhaps even when he was the most scandalous person at school, he was still a little scared about the whole damning aspect of being with another guy.]

[Leaning up a little and tilting his head just so he could half-gasp in a breath without fully breaking away, he'd continue as they were for just a few moments more before nudging their foreheads together and keeping Rey's lower lip between his teeth, just for a second.

He kept as close as the other boy had pulled him, though, and had no intentions of releasing his shirt.]

...Just okay.

[Whispered.]

[When Jehan caught his breath, Courfeyrac took the chance to do the same... But there was a small sound as his lip remained between Jehan's teeth.

His lips curled into a smirk, however, as Jehan commented on his kissing skills.]

Yeah?

[After catching his breath, he moved his forehead from Jehan's so he could plant light kisses along his jaw, up to behind his ear.]

Just okay?

[laughingandlyric]

[Humming, eyes still closed, he smiled in return and pressed his nose against his cheek, nuzzling briefly.]

Mmn, yeah. Just okay. Nothing I'll write in my journal about...

[affablecharm]

Your new one I'm buying you for that bribe?

[His chuckle is right in Jehan's ear, breath tickling his skin before he drags his teeth lightly down his neck and continues with those kisses.]

But what if I was bribing you with it expressly to have it filled with stories and thoughts about me?

[A light nip over his pulse point.]

Oh, I'd almost forgotten... thanks for the reminder.

[He couldn't help that his breath hitched at that nip, and he coloured for giving that away.

But two could play at that. Since his ear was accessible, he turned his head and returned that nip to the side of it, kissing it after.]

...If that was your goal, then, I guess. I guess we'd probably have to leave this hallway. Nothing romantic ever happened in a hallway.

[affablecharm]

[Damn it. There was a small sound when Jehan returned his nip... and he pulled away after pressing a kiss to the spot he'd used his own teeth on.]

Nothing romantic? So my teaching you to dance passably followed by some great kisses wasn't romantic? Then I will let you choose the next place we venture to.

Well, no. It wasn't.

[He decided, after some thought.]

Because it was all on the basis of coercion, in a place chosen because it's hidden. Bribery and sneaking is only the start of something really romantic.

[Well. He'd warned Courfeyrac not to kiss him, hadn't he?

But he had anyway, and so. So...

Reaching over, he went to take his hand, saying adamantly;]

You should come home with me. And I said it was 'okay', not 'great.'

[There: bravery, though he was already wavering on what he'd said.]

The start of something really romantic... Well, I can work with that.

[He glanced down at their hands, then back at Jehan when he spoke next... Grinning from ear to ear.]

You said 'okay], you thought 'great'.... Yeah, I'll go home with you, though. Teach me how to make this truly romantic. I am yours to teach.

[laughingandlyric]

How do you know what I thought? I thought it was okay.

[Asked, giving a nod and tugging him along then; his house wasn't far, and the weather was nice. It would be a short walk.]

Will your sister be all right, getting home alone?

[affablecharm]

A lucky guess. You'd never admit if I'm right.

[He followed... not really eagerly-- okay it was definitely eagerly. Biting his lip to keep from laughing, he squeezed Jehan's hand a little.]

She'll be alright, she was going to her friend's house tonight if I remember correctly...

[laughingandlyric]

I would too...

[Rubbing a finger over his thumb, satisfied by his answer about his sister, he hid his chin against his collar.]

Maybe. If there was no choice but to admit it. That's the real test, isn't it? If you distract someone so highly, make their chest feel so fluttery, that they can't help but tell you how wonderful you are.

So, no; not yet. Not great yet.

We'll see if I can't fix that when we get to your house.

[And, well, his heart skipped a beat when he felt Jehan's finger rub over his thumb.]
